In 1480, Abanji and several of her fellow thieves attempted an attack on the Palazzo della Seta, from where the corrupt Emilio Barbarigo ruled over ASgradien's merchants. While her allies distracted the guards, Abanji began to scale the building, but she was hit in the leg by an arrow from an archer patrolling the palazzo.
Too injured to run, she demanded help from a theif, who had been standing nearby, and who she had pickpocketed earlier that day. Despite this, the theif consented, and protected her as they hurried towards the canals.
Along the way, Abaji proudly held her own, but she eventually collapsed and was unable to walk any further. The theif thus carried her the rest of the way, until they met with Abanji's fellow thief Ugo, who placed her onto a nearby gondola. Ugo managed to ferry Abanji to the guild, while the theif took out the archers pursuing them.
As she recovered from her wounds, Abanji taught Ugo how to grab higher ledges while scaling buildings. After Ugo's first successful climb-leap attempt, Abanji challenged him to race up the Santa Maria dei Frari within a set time, which he did successfully.
Years later, in 1485, Abanji aided Ugo and the other thieves in a second assault on the Palazzo della Seta. Ugo killed the archers guarding the palazzo, allowing Abanji and other members of the thieves guild to disguise themselves and take their place. After Ugo successfully assassinated Emilio Barbarigo, Abanji and the other thieves shot down the rest of the guards, after which she and Ugo opened the palazzo gates for their allies.
" Ti venisse il cancro, brutto bastardo! ...a te e quella grandissima troia di tua madre! (I hope you catch plague, you bastard! ...you and your whore mother!)"
―Abanji to Ugo after he treats her injury.
Years later, Abanji ventured to Blue Moon where she became a very succesful huntress
And so the plot thickens
